REGAL SHOCKER Manila, Philippines – SCARY ENTERTAINMENT The iconic horror show of the ’80s, “Regal Shocker,“ is back on primetime, this time on TV5, starting on Nov. 5, Saturday.
Regal producer Mother Lily Monteverde and daughter Roselle and TV5 executive Perci Intalan join forces to scare the wits out of televiewers.The first episode, “Elevator” directed by Topel Lee, stars Gabby Concepcion as a crippled father whose daughter is confined in a hospital where the elevator turns out to be haunted by Nina Jose. Gabby has to fight Nina who wants to take his daughter. “We shot it in an abandoned hospital and we really felt the spirits hovering around during the taping,” said Direk Topel.
